About BGZT

Secondhand marketplace

BGZT (short for Bungeajangter) is a second-hand trading platform in Korea, similar to Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace, designed for local, chat-based transactions. Users can buy and sell used goods locally through chat-based transactions, with features like real-time location filters and secure payment options.

More than a resale app, BGZT offers curated retail spaces, trend reports, and brand experiences for consumers.

Design Process

Shaping the Journey

I explored a new packaging and delivery experience for second-hand trading, from pickup to delivery. The design focuses on flexible forms that adapt to different items while keeping the process simple and intuitive.

Using grids, triangles, and directional lines, I visualized ideas of movement, protection, and connection, capturing the item’s journey and the relationship between sender and receiver.

Brand Applications

Reflection

A sub-brand needs its own voice within a shared system

Designing within an existing brand required balancing consistency with distinction, while ensuring the system adapted across formats, from print to web.

I learned that strong branding is not defined by visuals alone, but by how clearly a concept can be applied and maintained across different contexts.
